Voices of the World (VOTW) is a unique, collaborative, award winning intercultural project that brings learners from around the world together through the use of music, art, dance and Makaton signing. The project was created and is managed by Sharon Tonner-Saunders, a lecturer in education at the University of Dundee and a British Council Ambassador

The aim of VOTW is to develop young people's intercultural sensitivity to enable them to live, work and learn with their global peers. This is achieved through providing opportunities for young people to preserve their linguistic and cultural  identities and to develop an understanding, awareness and appreciation of their global peers.

VOTW involves learners of all ages: pre-school/ kindergarten, primary and secondary/ high school pupils as well as university student teachers.  If you school would like to take part in the project or find our more, please send an email to:
